Retrospection: Persona 4 (Story) Chapter  8 -  Return of the Teddie & Chapter  9 -  A King Dethroned

This week is a unprecedented double chapter feature post here at Rapid Chronicles. While we could have just provided our regular one chapter per week I thought I would be nice and record more than usual, since next week it will be a busy week for me. So does this mean no recording next week? Honestly, I do not know, but I hope you guys enjoy two chapters.

Now I want to take this time to address, my miscalculation... here's the deal prior to this week I thought I had unlocked the Ha
nged Social Link (Saki's Brother Naoki Konishi) all the way back in June, I now realize that I current do not have him as a social link... I don't know if I still have a chance to unlock the social link now that we are in July, but I apologize for the lack of foresight.

In June we met Naoki Konishi during heath week, while I thought I had talk to him three times (which is the requirement) I realized I probably missed the last conversation with him which initiates the Hanged Social Link. Once again, I would like to apologize. If I see him I will try to get him to become a social link, but I have not seen him since back in June. He usually around First Floor Classrooms by Yukiko.

Since some people have messaged me on the YouTube Channel about an issue that's come up, I like to reiterate while these videos are not mainly for the purpose a Walkthrough, I do try to at least show you guys where quest givers are and what is required to complete the quest. However, I am not focused on showing random battles, since they are not integral to the story. But if you do have a question about how to complete a quest or about a specific encounter in the game, feel free to comment on the video or below this article as member.

Anyways onto thoughts about this weeks chapters.

This week is when the new “improved” Teddie is finally revealed after a full week of not being able to go into the TV. An obvious parallel can be drawn here, this is like Mitsuru being replaced by Fuuka with Teddie role replaced by Rise. I don't know about you guys, but while I think having Teddie as a party members is pretty awesome, it doesn't compare to having a Dog (Koromaru) in your team like in Persona 3. I really hoped the Fox could be a replacement to having a Dog in your party but the developer decided to go with Teddie I guess.

Morooka's death....

The murder of the teacher can be a very touche subject. Every student I talk to at the school, the consensus seemed to be “Morooka, was a huge jerk to the students, but I'm sad that this happened”. Yosuke's confession also how he thought Morooka might have been the killer, then later regretted his suspicion was I think very understandable  BUT man... what really drew my attention was, all through the discussion not once did the P4 crew address Morooka by his name. They just kept on calling him “King Moron”, while it didn't piss me off, it really surprised me... your teacher has just been murdered and you still slander his name. A dialogue option should have been along the lines of, “A least show him proper respect guys!”.
